Struts? Which are better??????

Hi I'm doing all four struts on my 86 LX.

so heres my question:

KYB GR-2's?

or Monroe Sensa-Trac's?

and do i need the lower mount kit's??

the cars staying at stock specs.

the GR2 IMO... the tokico blues aren't a whole lot more if you're willing to spend a bit more on a better strut

better for what, is the question.

the two struts you're comparing are stock replacements. they're the best for restoring the ride you should have had when you bought the car.

if you want better handling, you should look at some other options for struts. like vanilla sky suggested, the most reasonable "performance" oriented strut are the tokicos. they'd even handle non-stock springs to a certain extent.
