in side the stock airbox tehre is a little door thingy that opens whne the car is cold, that opens and lets air from the exasut mainfold flow into the carb, how can i remove the door thingy, i've tried everything and cant seem to figure it out.

turn the control valve that is connected to it a bit and pull up.,,,,that gets the air valve out the way other thatn that i dont see why you would want to get rid of the door for?

YOu know the round thing on top, well you can twist the top part left and right... it should pop off... the door itself I'm not sure cause I think I bashed it off...

i hooked up a ram air setup thru the bottom heater hose tube, and the door thingy is in the way and blocking the air,

even tho i have the lid flipped the air being raming in will flow around the filter and will be sucked in also, it will also be colder, pics will be up as soon as i am finished

wow .054 gap

You do realize bigger gap doesn't always = more performance. even with the coil.

??? is this bad?? i was told to gap it to that, what should i have it set at for best low end power???

I guess my high revs keep me from punching up the gap
