ok well heres one of my problems before i get working on the body work with my HB

how do i get those mouldings off so i can spray them? and also it seems liek its a thick coating thats also on the hatch trim , whats the best way to remove this ?

its about the best HB light ive seen , no cracks or scratches its jsut got webbing inside b/c of a splder or something

To get the molding off you need to take off the black plastic thing that is connected the side back windows. After the plastic thing is off theree is a screw that holds that long molding on....then slide the molding twards the front of the car...plastic holders are really brittle so take your time.

Amen to that. The little white clips will break even when your not trying to get them off. Be very careful! Because once they're off they're off

k but what about the material weathering off the mouldings, its like a thick plastic i guess , whast the best way of cleanin them up?

well since you're gonna paint them, once you get them off, sand it off, and then spray.
be prepared to goto the honda dealer for some of those clips. them biatches like to break.

thanks for asking that question, my shit is peeling off too....im just gonna remove it tho, my car is silver(grey, but silver sounds so much better) and i love the silver/crome look

i did it on one side......looks crazy nice, gonna do the other side next day i have off

but once u take the piece that holds the trim on there, u also have to unbolt the window so u can get at the bolt that holds the trim piece on :-/ didnt like that too much, but i got it done, looks great. gonna have to use some polish tho, its scratched up a bit
