Is there an easy way to tell what compressor I have on my 89 Accord

You have one of three compressors: Denso, Keihin; NH140L.

You can view schematics of all 3 at the site below.

So it looks like from the pictures that the denso compressor is longer where the keihin compressor is kind of short and stubby?

That cleared it right up. I definitely have the Denso.

How bad are the Keihn's? I think that's what I have and I want to see if my AC works. It had been converted to the R134a and I am hoping it works.

I converted a Keihin to 134 and it ended up siezing and throwing the belt, knocking out my power steering in the process
My denso just leaked

Sorry to bring up an old thread but are the N/D compressors interchangeable with the Keihin compressors or do the mounting brackets and hoses need to be changed over also.
I've got the keihin unit in mine and from what I read so far it's so supposed to be a POS....
