My buddy has a 96 civic and he has this bright ass reverse lights which are really nice not only for reversing at night but they look good also, anyone know where i could get a pair of those?? :dunno:

higher wattage bulbs will probably help. the ones in my mom's 626 are insanely high wattage for that size of bulb (1157), but they came stock. try out some LED replacement lights.

have i done a post yet on "my secret project" flip up reverse lights? if i haven't have to do one. one of these days i will have time to finish the control circuits and put them in

flip up reverse lights.......sounds intruiging

are they like the JDM foggies, that say ACCORD on them......that wud be badASS

no these are made from flip up motors they hide under the sides of the rear bumper and when you turn on the backup lights they swing down from under the bumper. i could glass etch accord on the lenses great idea!! i've been messing with them on my bench for years got to get the time to put them in.

jus go to walmart and get them they should have da super white bulbs 1157's yea and they only cost 5 bucks fore a pair but yea thats whea i got mine and i always buy them thea even though u can go to autozone or advance auto

yea i have to get busy on the control circuits. it's like redesigning your flip ups. i already drew it out, i just haven't had time to put it together yet. i tested them on my bench with a simple circuit that made them go up and down over and over, to test durability of the welds. i found that the upper control switch didn't hold up so i finally found one that will work have to order it. thats what that aluminum panel is by my shift boot. it shows the status of each light up down or moving. just like a gear indicator on an airplane. it's automatic i just have a master switch.
