i was lookin on ebay at all kinds of parts for the 3g's and they had some good stuff and some crap like them bullshit modules that are supposed to add like 20 hp to ur car theres like 6 different brands and all look like they r made by the same company. I was lookin at the carbon fiber hoods the eccmotorsports ones on ebay looked pretty good they had some metal reinforcement on them and were coated so they would last. I so another seller of the hoods but they seemed like they were all fiberglass they had a big disclaimer on the page which made it sound like a pretty bad product. I saw some z3 fenders r they legit?(whats up with them $13 halo headlight kits?) Thats what im pretty much gettin at is what they got on ebay junk or are they the hook up im lookin at a c/f hood and the z3 fenders. Oh and what about the coilover kits/springs they got are they cheap ass brands or r they worth somethin??????? let me know of some sites or places that would have some good stuff......

the fenders are legit. The modchips are bull, the cf hoods are all iffy, the halo heads are stupid, and the springs, holy crap just search already.

nicely put. i go on ebay to look for ideas. check out the other posts. gotta do your homework. just keep in mind, what you pay for is what you get, especially on ebay.

I would only look at ebay waiting for some nice rare items to pop up once in awhile.

DC sports Header, Strut bar, JDM corners, Foglights, etc.

also worth keeping your eyes out for rear disc brakes and other se-i stuff, addco rear sway bar, and sometimes body kits (if you're into that).

the only thing i've ever bought on ebay has been a catalytic converter... and that was probably a pretty iffy decision

i got my CAI off ebay and i was hella happy with it.

you pretty much get what you pay for when you go cheap on ebay. Search for carbon fiber hoods here. there is a company that sells them on ebay and they're good hoods.

true, but the ebay mod chips aren't ecu chips. its just a resister that tricks the ECU. It plugs into an existing plug i think.

i found this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33646&item=7986311280&rd=1) cf hood for $125, don't know if it's the same or not. but i was going to see if i couldn't pick it up from them since i do live in socal and could drive to their place. $20 for gas sounds much better than $200 for a truck.

good find, but I don't know about the part with the fiberglass core for structure support, sounds majorly iffy. i'd rather go with a full carbon hood than a fg cored one, but thats just me. other than that, good find.

well, for only $125, don't think you'll find a full cf. can't even find one for a civic for that price. but i heard somewhere that full cf actually isn't as strong as it might sound, and that it's better to have some sort of support. true or no?

you forgot to look at the shipping price. its like 250 bucks! makes it end up about the same price as any other CF hood.

they probably wouldnt let you come pick it up since they charge extra for shipping to cover the real cost of the hood. if you bought that in a store, they'd probably charge 350 for it or whatever it comes out to be to buy it on eBay

I ordered a high-flow catalytic converter, spyder bodykit, aluminum gauge bezel, juice box power chip, and just ordered the z3 fenders last week n they should be here any day. and so far everything i ordered was perfectly fine and in good condition.

not exactly, and it looks a whole lot better then the one thats on there. Im getting ready to rip off the old exhaust system n put on the new cat and a custom dual exhaust.
