Im looking for the best place to find strut tower mounts for the struts. The only one i've seen are KYB strut mounts from tirerack for 11 for the front and 12 for the rear. Why am I getting these? I'll spill the beans soon...
it starts with a T... :)

screw the spring compressor. just put the spring between your feet, and put the top hat up against something sturdy like a wall or fence, and stand clear of the strut. watch that shit fly baby.

Yup... aftermarket shocks will mount up exactly the same as factory shocks.

i just went to the junkyard with a rental spring compressor and got the top hats for cheap. the guy at the cashier office was confused how I got it off since they don't sell those things by itself and usually sell the whole strut assembly.
oh well..hopefully experimentation starts this weekend... >=)

nothing really but they got great coilovers as well as great customer service in terms of rebuilding struts/shocks.
