98 civic engine

im planning on putting a 98 civic engine in my 89 honda accord. will it create a lil more power? is it worth it? or should i just forget about it. cause i still have my stock engine with 360 000 on it, but the body is still in great shape, i jus got it painted.

you have the exact same rims as i do. Anyways no you cant put that engine in your accord unless you have a pile load of money to custom fabricate mounts, axles etc..and the power gains wouldnt be worth it at all. just buy a rebuilt a20a3 or whatever it would be much cheaper use the search feature on this website it helps alot.

what type of civic engine is it????

is it the B16? D16? gotta find out what it's coming from. base model civics only came with 106hp... you wont get much power gain from that lol

yah do it if it's a b16a2, it can work.

edit.... talkin' out my ass, b16a2 only came in usdm civic 99-00. lmao. a 98? it better be a jdm vtec motor then. don't do ANY D-series. that's a big waste of time and money.

don't put a civic engine in there period! go find yourself a teg engine.... or a jdm b20 would be nice if you can find it.

you could always just build up an a20. these engines can make some good horsepower if you put some money in them

a hatch weights a little less then the ek si coupes. with that civic engine done right, in theory it should be about the same performance or faster, which is about a high 14 low 15 1/4 mile. some civic engines are good.
