Well, i found this one on Ebay, and i was wondering what you guys thought of it.

I've got 2 Infinity 1030's to hook up to this.

They are 250w RMS

Is this something i should look into buying? or should i go with a different model?

go with an authorised retailer, not someone that says boldly that he's not.

ok, what's the disadvantages of him not being an authorized dealer? He's got 98.4% positive feedback.

I'm mainly just asking about the compatibility of the amp with the subs.

Thanks though

warrantee for the most part. and he might be selling a refurb, not a new amp.

If youre going to buy an Amp, buy a used Rockford 500DB (or BD, whatever it is), that amp will be plenty of power for the subs, and it will last. My cousin has one that has survived being dropped, a 60mph t-bone, and getting pop spilled on it. Still pushes his 2 Diamond D3's just fine

I donno, 200w amp powering 2 250w subs? Its a dececnt quality amp I suppose, but you should look into something a little better for those subs

Aye, that much underpowering with those subs would probably produce less than desirable results...plus i bought my amp off ebay and its been working for just about a year now...

And I'm sure you guys knew this but that means he's got 1000 watts peak power between the 2 subs... 250 rms 500 peak Gotta at least go with something closer to 1k watts..

i think a 500 watt would give him the sound he wants, 800 max. No need to push the speakers at peak all the time and wear them out that much faster

Just find an amp that runs teh same rms wattage as both of your subs combined, make sure its stable at whatever load you plan to wire them in so you can get the proper power out of that amp. 500w @ 2ohm is probably what you are looking for, since both of those subs are probably 4ohms each, ,wire in parallel to get 2ohms (incase you didnt know)
