ok so i have a similar problem to alexcol,,, around 3,000 rpms the engine seems so bog down and once it get to this point my car will slowly excelerate and then feel normal again,,, also if i give it all the gas the gears change papidly and my car takes forever to excelerate from,,, while making the "boging sound",,, i will be on the highy way cruising and need to pass someone so i will give it gas and the car will jerk into the gear and take forever to excelerate,,,, ive changed the gas filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap,the atf level,,, i give up i dont know what else to check im ready to just slam the car into a wall,,,,, please help
