also the nut for the main shaft was loose, likely explaining my problem with 5th gear but not the same problem for 3rd. :bowrofl:

another fun fact was that besides the trail of tranny oil I left leading into the shop but I was greated by a healthy dose of tranny oil when I pulled the flywheel cover

yea I'm going back to my teg tranny and see if shit gets better. That was my original trans that was perfect when I pulled it and now it's all screwed up after a few days of driving??????????????

well back to the topic I got the trans working again by going back to the complete teg gears and a different bell housing that didn't have any holes. :D

well back to the topic I got the trans working again by going back to the complete teg gears and a different bell housing that didn't have any holes. :D

Justin what the heck is rubbing a hole thru the case?? The CV shaft.

it was the differental, the pin that holds the gears/LSD together.

Matt don't worry about me I'll be there one way or another, lets hope my CC dosn't take a big hit getting me up there.

i had a card that went from 1500 limit to 6500 limit in a matter of months... scared the shit out of me.. thankfully its at a 0 balance now
