hesitiation when hot.

Im getting hesitiation on my 86 ex (european Model, because i live in Portugal), but it only seems to happen when it´s hot.
It will drive OK for the first 15-20 minutes but then it will start hesitating. It´s definitly heat related because it runs fine when cold.
I think it´s the carb, i´ve checked for leaks and havn´t found any.

Any sugestions!?.......please i need a little help on this!!!

Check to see that your coolant is full and is flowing properly, meaning the pump and thermostat are working, and also that your radiator fans work.

pump and thermostat are working and the fan also works. i´m sure it´s something to do with the carburetor

since you have euro version of the car, you don't have too many vacuum lines to start with.
the best thing would be to down load the shop manual from Paul's website. His manual covers the euro models and how to fix various problems.

Is your choke opening?

Do you nottice any smoke out the exhaust... do you smell anything funny?

does your euro model have a "hot air door diaphragm"?
Look at pic below, I labled the diaphragm.

Other things perhaps... check for oil in the distributor, and check you PCV valve see if it rattles when you shake it.

What do your plugs look like?
Remove your plugs after you let the engine cool and see what color they are, or what kind of deposits are on them.
