what is the interior like? get some more pics. looks like you recovered some of the door pannels too. cant say that the copious amounts of blue is my style :rice:
but i deff give you props for the work on the side skirts you should find someone close by who wants them and do em up for him while taking lots of pics for a how-to thread

Sexy. :)

I luv that color, maybe I'll steal it and use that for my two tone scheme instead of my Silver I have now.

I wish your car was an 87 or 86, the side trim on those are much more flat and angular, the 88 89 is too round and bumpy.

I like your interior but I agree with the guy, it should be 2 colors, 3 or 4 makes it look odd... plus you have all different textures from the seats to the metal bits on the interior.

I still think your doing a nice job though.

:)

im redoing the interior. im redoing it in flat black and im keeping my blue seats and carpet. i thought the same thing. i didnt like the interior, thats one reason ive never posted. i dont like it, and i know no one else would. but i think the all black with blue seats and carpet will look good. i have an invader front bumber off a 91 civic that im going to sell. i dont like it anymore, i want to go for the JDM look.

Amen Brotha!!! But still dude I really like every thing about it *minus the few odd spots* The interior would look good w/ the black blue but I'm not so sure it would look good w/ the current paint scheme. I don't know might be one of those things you have to try out and see if you like it or not. And if you want to go JDM then paint your wheels green or purple and then have your interior green. That is pretty much a trend going on over there. That I guess technically would be true JDM but, if you want to do America's rendition of JDM then you know what you're gonna have to do already. Glad you posted pics though! :)

nice. What did you do for the brackets for your front seats? I also see racing harness. How are those bolted down?

Nice effort. Rims..sorta clash for your "jdm look"

Zach there is nothing to be ashamed of there! It all looks really good. I think you should add shaved door handles onto that list. Your car is alot like mine in the fact that there is alot of time and money spent into custom exterior stuff so I think shaved door handles would be like the "icing on the cake" per say.

Wow, that car looks reall good! got some touch ups to do like the front bumper but DAYUM! I'd not be embarrassed to drive in that at all, I love the clean interior where did you get the carpet from? for the floor?

myaccord7
08-16-2005, 08:48 AM
im actully going to school for auto body, so i know how to shave handles, ive been thinking about doing it. i got the carpet from ACCarpets. it was one of there "extreme" colors(more money) they did have some cool colors, neon green, bright red....

i think the color is very, very, very nice, but the blue needs to go! it hurts my brain, you should go black with body colored accents, like vent bezels and such, that would look sick, but keep the diamond plate, that looks pretty good, how do you like it? i used to have my floor boards done up in that, looked killer.....but was very slippery w/ wet feet

myaccord7
08-16-2005, 08:41 PM
im not a fan of the diamond mats. i started painted my dash black today. i had the bottom part painted black, started on the top part today. the blues going to stay, i have to much money in the blue seats, blue seatbelts, and the blue carpet. so its going to be blue, black and some gold(color of the car).

3rdGenHatchBack what kind of front bumper do you have on your car? whats it from? your sig picture looks nice.

zach

Vanilla Sky
08-25-2005, 08:15 PM
from what i understand, about the best way to get the carbs jetted properly is to dyno tune it.

you can get damn close with simply using the weber tables for setups.

haha, i do know how to drive a 5speed, my prelude is a stick. i have a 5speed swap for my accord. i need a flywheel. they are weapon R coilovers, the back is down all the way but its still high. i was going to have to cut some coils. i havent put on the DCOEs yet, i have to do the 5speed swap first, the factory carb has a kickdown cable. thanks

Since youre going to school for body repair can you take it up there and work on it as a "semester project"? That would be freckin' awesome if you could.
