i apologize if this is in the wrong section :(

anybody ever had the exhaust ports on the block machined to accept a header for say a GSR or an ITR or something like that? you can get the ports on the head made to fit the B18C throttle body so why not the other end of things?

or did i just make my self look like a total n00b? :sad2: :ugh:  :dunno:

the ports are way off. the middle two ports are against eachother, as opposed to other honda engines which have equal spacing.

There is little probability.

First thing the B series motors have their spark plug holes on top of the head, not out the side.

Second the port shapes are wrong

Third you need to think about the tilt of the A20 motor... if we bolt on a header from a motor with no tilt... then the outlet of that header will be poiting upwards... not to mention you have to worry about clearing the oil pan and connecting the header to the rest of the exhaust sytem.

"life beings at 180mph" comes from the motorcycle world. at 180mph the white lines on the road start going the opposite direction, so thats when life begins ;)
