i was just wondering how much would it cost to have my alternator replaced..aparently i found out today it might going bad..because of the flickering of my battery light evey now and then :-(...sad but true..uhhh.....help?

not sure... $150 - $300 maybe?
just buy a rebuild one that has a warranty and install it yourself.
I'm sure someone here can walk you through the install.

Junkyard = $40 and since you have EFI it will be much easier to replace than Carbed Accords.
If it's flickering, it might be your brushes. You can change them yourself (Haynes has pics of removing it). All you need to do is use a soldering iron and take off the old ones and solder in the new ones.

so it actually might notbe going bad...where is this pic of these brushes...my auto zone told me $92.99 didnt say anything about exchanging...i wish it were just my battery..sooo much simpler

Pull it yourself and have it tested. Most auto parts stores will test it for free. If it is bad just buy a rebuilt one and throw that puppy in.
Brushes are like $2. If you can't find it in the Haynes, download the appropriate section from Paulaerodeck's factory service manual.
