i was checkin ebay for armrests in the beige color, but couldn't find any. i did find however an armrest that is listed for 86-89 accords. i looked at the pics, but it's not for our cars. it doesn't even look like it fits our cars. i'll link you to the page, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-89-ACCORD-ARMREST_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33695QQitemZ799 4944087QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
i'm right on this, i know i am. dude doesn't know what he's selling.

Actually, it looks like it might fit. There were aftermarket versions available for years from places like A&H Motorsport. They don't replace part of the console. They just screw on over the current console.

Yeah, I've seen that style before floating around the board. Looks like it will fit, though.

ok, i guess i missed posts with pics of armrests like it. it wouldn't go well in my car unfortunately, since i have the beige interior. anybody else looking for one? all i ever find seems to be blue or maroon and they are all really high priced.

Those ones break really easy. Looks like an add-on.

Actually those are from an Integra. They do fit, I have one in my dx. The one thing to be weary of is that it has a small metal bracket that bolts to the floor and then the arm rest bolts to the bracket. If it dosent come with the bracket its wont just bolt on.

Actually, they are for the Accord. I've pulled one two off junkyard cars already.

i have that armrest, it pretty functional but very weak at the top, i pulled it from a coupe in the local junkyard. i say weak also cuz it dosn't need much down pressure to break, its also my second one..

thats an accord, the bracket attaches to the holes where the ashtray went i believe. i reinforced mine with metal brackets where it attaches to the floor, the problem is the front mounting holes, the ones that go toward the dash aren't very strong, the rear ones that attach to the floor are very stong. i installed a u bracket inside of the center console so the front holes attach to metal instead of plastic. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/10/web/2050000-2050999/2050019_6_full.jpg i love mine,i have a place to put my arm and a place for all my loose crap. i also put the control for the bass under the armrest in the upright part.I spent an entire day at the junkyard getting this out,the car was tboned, so it was caught between the seats. i had to break the drivers window and hang upside down with a hacksaw cutting away the seatbrackets in order to get it out. in 100 degree georgia swamp heat with skeeters and fireants. like i said i love my armrest.

Just a note: The full armrest types are more sturdy of course, because of their obvious design, but the half-armrests offer more storage room as they have a bigger storage space below the actual cloth cover.
