will 87 lx spindles fit on 88lxi?

ok, here's my problem my stud is broken off on my 88 and i already bought one to replace it. while i had the rotor off an idea popped into my head what if i took the spindle and rotor off the 87 lx and put it on my 88 lxi. mainly b/c i had the rotors replace before it crapped out. and im not all into aloy rims w/ curb rash (88 lxi 14in turbine aloys) and i love my steelies.i know my 13in steelies wont fit b/c of the rotor so even if i just take the rotor off the 87 will it fit an 88.


also i had new drums put on. i just want the drum so i can paint it and then put it on the 88. will drums from an 87 fit my 88.

yes they will, but this is a brake downgrade. you have to change thr front knuckle, the calipers, and the rotors for this to work. just find some 14" steelies somewhere.
