well, my neighbor was getting ready to throw away his 91 crx front bumper. so i took it off his hands. i took my trusty angle grinder and cut the lower valance off of it. i cut the center off the lower valance it looks like ====== that was taken out and then i used screws till i can get some rivets and it look pretty good minus it's 3" short on the sides but im just gonna glass it and smooth it out. and then it'll look good. im tryin to get my friends camera so i can show some pics of it.

ps.. it also makes the front alot nicer looking, mainly b/c of the fake vents that i could dremel out and put some mesh behind it.it's also an inch lower now.than stock bumper.

when i get my car back on the road (a week or so) we'll make a day and meet. i know there is another guy not to far from us he live's in york pa.

things i have to do to get on road:
1) cv halfshaft starting to go (replacing)
2) 2 broken studs 1 on each front
3)rotor needs replaced.

i thought it was the the crx lip that everyone else gets. so you basically cut the bumper in half and molded onto the accord one? looks pretty good....

there was alot done to the car since the pics were taken. (sanded, bondo, primer)
it looks alot better now than in pics. i couldn't get the link to the lower valance so i said phuk it and made my own. it give me about a 1.5" lower front bumper which i scrape alot now b/c im not use to having it that low.

that bondo is going to crack off in 2.5 seconds....you need to buy a plastic welder if you want to pull this off

thanx for mentioning that, never thought of using plastic welding. during the winter im gonna just take the bumper off and redo it. but it's been on like that for almost 2 weeks and no cracking. the right side (if your looking at the bumper from infront of the car.) the bondo was taken off and redone b/c of a poor mix (a lil messed up the night before).

PS. hows ur 3g-4g conversion coming?

Well if you cant buy a aftermarket bumper, make one! Backyard mechanics at their best (and hey, it dont look that bad)
