Cut him a break, he's just looking out for YOU. ddude2uc is letting you know it's a salvage title. Salvage titles are hard to get insurance for (salvage title = expensive insurance). I read in an earlier post that some insurance companies will not insure a salvage title.

If you already knew that, then fine. But I would think "thank you" would be a more appropriate response, not a flame post.

If it was me, I would not bother posting a reply to help you in the future.

Peace.

The site is a canadian site.

The Accord Limited was available in Canada in 1988 only. It has NOTHING special. It's basicaly a canadian 1988 Accord EX. (same as the US LX). They just labeled it Limited since there was no similar car available in Canada for 86-87. The Limited was badged Accord EX in 1989 (Same as a US LX again)

That question was aswered here already (by me again)
http://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?t=37336&highlight=Accord+Limited

I'm getting tired of this Canadian/US badge differences.

I'm posting this again for the LAST time.

Canadian 3g Accord badging

Sedan:
86-87: LX and EX-i
88: LX, Limited, EX-i
89: LX, EX, EX-i, SE-i

Coupe
88-89: LX, EX-i (and the SE-i for 89)

Hatch:
86-89: S

Oh, okay. I stand corrected. :)

But I would still frown on biting the hand that feeds you.

Peace.

may i just interject something? the use of punctuation marks within sentences is a helpful thing. oh, to address the question of whether that LTD would have the "elusive" cupholders. the cupholders came on the SE-i, and you can find someone selling them on here probably. oh, BTW they're not the best for actually holding drinks. when you see a picture of one, then you'll understand.

Limited was a pretty cool car.. My very first set of wheels was an '88 Limited.

As far as I could tell, all the exterior and interior options of the upper end Accords, with the drivetrain of the lower end ones (carb, 13" wheels)

Loved it to death, 400,000 kms, and the only thing besides regular maitenance to go was an alternator in it's life (even original waterpump, starter, clutch, etc.) It started to rust around the strut mounts and then after hitting a huge bump one day it cracked and slowly the car starting splitting there.. Very sad..
