i have a msd 6al hooked up to my 89 lx, carb. i unit works. i have it hooked up to my msd blaster coil, but i cant get the rev limiter to work. i had a friend test it, with my chips, and he got it to work on a V8. i was told that the little round black cover on the top of the 6al has something to do with what type of car you have it in, 4cyl or V8... i took the black cap off and it has two wires, blue and red, i think those are the right colors. what do i need to do with them?
