that link should take you right to the page. you can download each section in .pdf format. scroll down a tad, you'll see it.

Go the auto parts store. Buy a Hayne's manual. Look in the table of contents about changing the head gasket.

The blue/green chiltons is a good book and can be found around town. The helms will mostlikly have to be ordered its $60.

It's in the engine PDF

or it should be.

I used chiltons to do the head gasket, before paul uploaded the shop manual.

I usually check the shop manual, Hayne's and Chilton's. I've found that Chilton's is too generic sometimes since it covers the Accord and Prelude and such a large number of model years. The Hayne's and shop manual are toss ups. Sometimes the shop manual doesn't explain things, just shows pictures. That's when I turn to the Hayne's.

Page 6-4 is where the directions for removing the cylinder head are. That's what you need. Section 6 is all about the head. If you downloaded the engine section, I'm not sure how you missed it.

yea like stevie said, go to the Engine section of the shop manual that you wanna download, and check pages 6-2 and 6-4. All you gotta do is loosen the timing belt along with the cam gear (mark the location of the belt to the cam gear teeth before you pull them off with a white out or something). then pull the camshaft out if u want, not realy needed. and you can pull the head studs out and off comes the head.

OF course you have to remove the intake manifold and the exhaust manifold in order to pull the head. its a bitch to get them all out, but thats the only way.
You can just remove the downpipe from the header and pull the whole thing with the head/exhaust manifold and intake manifold together, its gonna be heavy, but when u put them back, please take them apart before you put the head back on. this is cause , they are soo heavy you might drop the head or bump the head in places and might get the mating surface scuffed. And its not good.

Steve: get back to work :D
