Your A/C will still work. A/C is not vacuum operated.
The only real vacuum portion of A/C was to increase your idle slightly to maintain a steady idle with the added strain of running the A/C compressor. The A/C idle boost is soely a part of the stock carb. So you loose A/C idle boost when you convert to the Weber.

Cruise Control is vacuum dependent.

Keeping the black box with the Weber carb is untested.

most people just remove all the vacuum and electical solenoids and such that went with the stock carb system.

Your HVAC controls are probably vacuum operated, they are if your 85 is a LX anyway. You just need to make sure that you hook it back up to the mainfold and you'll be fine. The line is easy to find, its the only one coming from the cowl. Also make sure that you put a check valve on the line. There is a vacuum can under the cowl for the HVAC and you want to make sure it can't drain back into the manifold. The default if you have no vacuum to the HVAC is defrost so you'll find your vents will switch to defrost when you floor it with out the valve.
