Stupid question about Climate controls..

So this has been boggling my mind since it happened and I cant figure out why it is doing this.

I had a heater hose spring a leak a while ago, so I went ahead and replaced it... I made sure I didnt disrupt anything else under the hood while doing so, yet ever since I replaced the stupid hose my heater control will not slide to Hot on the HOT/Cold lever.

Anyone have any ideas?... I have looked behind the controls and cant see any cables being pulled on or anything so it just doesnt make sense. :sadwave: :mad:

is it possible that the new hose clamp is interfering with the temp selecter?
the temp (hot/cold ) exits the firewall right at the heater hoses. at this point there is apivot that is controlled from inside by a cable/wire.
