transmission mounts

just curious, are the transmission mounts for the auto the same as the ones for manuals? i know their both different part numbers, but i was wondering if i can use my auto one still, they look pretty much the exact same.

they look the same but they are different. You can use either of them, but the rear tranny mount is different and wont fit. I know the dogbone mount, front tranny mount, bottom tranny mount, rear tranny mount are different for sure but you could run your auto mounts, they just dont seem to hold up as well as the 5 speed ones.

what do you mean by they wont hold up as well? would my car still be drivable if i use them atleast until i can get ones from the junk yard?
