advantages of rear disc brake converstions?

what are the actual advantages of rear discs on our accords? does it stop the car that much faster, or is it just a bit faster?

you don't have to worry about stupid springs when you replace the pads, that's for sure. i dunno about actual performance though, as i haven't driven with rear disc brakes on mine yet.

Disc brakes are remarkable upgrade over drum brakes. Performance wise its much better stopping distance.

This is why you are seeing four wheel disc brakes more and more on economy cars.

everyone on here who has changed to 4whl disks loves them. they're high on my list
of future mods

There is no real gain in stopping power, but the disks are more resistant to fade. They also make a marked imporvement in pedal feel and disk brake pads are a hell of alot easier to change then drum shoes.
