Hey all, i am from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, and i am a n00blet to this website. :)
I have owned my beauty for a well over a year now, and love it to death. Although i don't have any mods on it, its nearly in showroom condition. only 179,000kms (112,000Miles for my neighbors in the south).
I wanted to comment on how wonderful this old reliable preforms in the Winter. Here in Winnipeg it is VERY common for the temperature to go below -40C (-40C and -40F is the ONLY time where the C and the F temperatures are the same number). So anyway i would plug my car in every night, and noticed that some of the starts would be fairley rough in the mourning time... but figured the Cold weather was just the cause, and atleast my car starts! alot of Escorts, Tempo's, Sunfires, Shadows, etc just wont start at all. Little did i know, there was a big cut in my block heater cord, and the block heater wasn't working. I believe the coldest night of the year this past year was about -52, and my 1987 Honda Accord LX fired up ready to drive that mourning - without the assistance of a block heater - now thats a Honda! Sure enough i stripped the wire, reconneted everythign threw some electrical tape on it, and then each mourning's start was easy.
The tires arn't huge, but the car doesn't get stuck any more than your typical Family sedan. The heater fires up and keeps you warm faster than alot of modern cars, and the defrost system still works great.
Anyway, just thought i would mention that as the weather starts to cool off...
Look forward to reading some posts about some other people proud of their 3geez!

reason why they warm up faster then most cars is the fan is not runing all the time...............
