2006 seems like a long time...but just wanted to share what I am thinking at the moment.
I'm thinking of trading in my '87 accord lx-i when the new 2006 Honda Fit rolls in the US. I've had the '87 accord for quite a long time...My dad bought it brand new and kept it since than, and passed it on to me. The car is now 18 years old, with 145,000 miles. The only major thing that happen to it was transmission failure, I had it replaced with an almost new 30k mile tranny and installed for $800.
Since gas prices are soaring, I'm thinking of getting the Honda Fit, I've been reading about this car, reliability is great and gas is great as well. What attracts me most is it will be in the price range of 11k-14k. And of course its a hatch back :)
Should I keep the accord till it falls apart? :)

Save some cash and get myself an 06' Honda Fit?
