you will have to contact people who done B20 A swaps.
I believe Carotman will give you the answer you are looking. he compared both A20 and B20A5 trannies, but i believe they were just a little off on the bolts and bell housing spacing or something like that. it is been long time ago since he did that.

Here's a picture, that YK86 took comparing the A20 and B20 tranny bellhousing: http://www.3geez.com/showpost.php?p=53963&postcount=4

I think that says it all.

What did the USDM B20A tranny (5 speed) come out of?

There doesnt exist any UDSM B20A tranny. You either have to get the B2K5 or F2K5 tranny that's made for the JDM B20A engine or you would have to somehow mock something up from some usdm tranny parts.
The JDM B20A tranny's you have to source from Japan and other asian countries, New Zealand or Europe.

With many other hondas, kids have plenty of success putting on a flywheel, clutch, and tranny from a different motor. Perhaps a b20a5 flywheel and transmission can bolt on if the tranny mount works?

Or another honda cable tranny? That's what I'd first look into. Try honda-tech or somewhere and look for what experiences other honda guys in general have with it..

good luck

maybe b16 tranny? since the theory is that the b20a from our accord is just a stroked b16.
