Need some help with paint idea.

Ok here is my idea. What i want to do is paint the black piece of plastic that goes around the lights. I wanna know if this is a good idea, and how to go about doing this. Also i need to know about the best type of paint to use. Im thinking about using Sems, but if you know of any better brands, please tell me. Thanks in advance.


P.S. i want to paint them a chrome/silver color if that makes a difference.

The headlights? Do it. Someone here did it I can't remember who it was but they did it in like a terquoise blueish color. Look cool.
