well, my friend told me that clutch discs and oil dont mix, luckily i have an oil leak on the exact opposite side of the engine(lucky me). well, i got off work today and tried putting the rest of my car together, then i rotated the flywheel to reasses the damage i caused to my pressure plate wondering if its still useable. thats when i noticed a liquid dripping down my flywheel/clutch. at first i thought it was just condensation or something cause it was very frosty this morning. then it dripped onto the flood and was greenish. it was a coolant leak which i had no idea about until today. what im wondering is, is my clutch still useable or should i just buy a new one...

After you fix the leak thoroughly clean the clutch disk, flywheel, and pressure plate with brake cleaner and you should be fine.

yeah id roll with it its prolly OK.

I add a bead of silicone sealer on the motor or bell when I do clutches try to hold some of that junk back atleast. Its and old chevy 350 trick keep oil from the valve covers off the clutch.
