I searched in the forums and could not find where
anyone else has had this problem.
I have an 88 Accord DX 2 door and when I put on my
seatbelt and then drive, the seatbelt chime comes on
and beeps and beeps and beeps and the light flashes.
Sometimes the door light flashes also but it doesn't show any of the doors open on the little diagram by the speedometer. I open and close both doors but it doesn't
stop. I disconnected some wires under the seats but that
didn't stop the chime. :uh: Please if anyone can tell me how to stop that annoying noise I will be so grateful! :dunno:

Try this thread. I'm having problems with the seat belt solenoids in the doors ('89 coupe with seat belts in the doors) draining the battery. Anyway, in my constant quest to determine the correct fix, I found this handy little tip.

Thank you so much Poncho Villa!! I actually took that
plastic piece down and was looking around up there
because it sounded like that is where the noise was
coming from but then I said no it can't be up there.
I will try that first thing tomorrow and hopefully my
beeping days are over!
