sure. and for added HP and fuel economy you could put a "tornado" (avail at autozone $50) right after it!! i bet youd get like 50 hp to the wheels!!!

I dont know, $50 for it, but how much could ya save on gas? Might still be worth it for some of us that drive a lot, $50 is what i spend every other week on gas....if it saved $10 in 5 weeks it paid for itself and then after that i would be saving....

WOW...I spend over $100.00/week...

Realize this, ever see the 2L bottle of water turned upside down and they swirl the bottle around and the water comes out faster....this is their comparison on the reason why their product increases h.p. etc...

The comparison is not related to the fluid transfer (dynamics) of air.
Very misleading example,,,not related at all.

Water doesn't have the same fluid properties as air...

A 2L bottle of water turned upside down chuggs the water out slowly
reason:
- change in internal pressure (continously the pressure changes, due to the increase in air volume inside, a vacumm is constantly changing because of the air replacing the volume of water being displaced)
- water exsits while air enters to balance out the system
- if no air entered the sytem the water would never leave the bottle
- internal pressure contiuously changes/acts against gravity

They spin the bottle to create a Vortec:
- water comes out faster
reason> air enters sytem faster, therefore the rate of displacement between water and air is increased> therefore the water exsists quicker....yah no shit....more volume in, more volume out.....balanced

You need to realized this:

- gravity has no factor in the fluid dynamics or air
- air's fluid dynamics are dependent on different factors then water
- bottle is a closed sytem// no relative scientific comparison to the air intake

Misleading Example provided by this company, no relative scientific realtions between this example and the air intake in a motor.....it's a joke...

car and driver did their own tests on a bunch of these gimic products... the one your looking at actually decreased horsepower by 10% and decreased fuel economy by 20%... don't bother wasting money on that thing, it will only hurt your car...

however... the test they did on a diesel engine did actually increase torque output a little, but it still hurt fuel economy.

i read that article but i dont belive it. i still think you could put a "tornado" right after it and get like 50 hp to the wheels

screw that!!! that device is a complete and udder crock of shit. you'd see some performance out of something else... like a manual secondary. easy, in my case was free since i still had the a/c idle boost thingy. that was a good mod for my mid and top end power for sure.

hey, you could throw in two, and have like 100 extra horsepower. It'd be a twin-turbo monster. You'd be the first twinturbo 3g!
