Well, yesterday i took off the bumper and painted the thing from the stock color that had faded and on the top, turned white, to a solid black.

Other things i have done :

Painted blinkers black (still show up orange when turned on :D)

Added rims that I got for 50 bucks at the salvage yard.

cat-back exhaust

Added a layer of clear coat to the hood and roof.... it shines now, but i think i'm going to sand it down from here and get an even coat on there.

AND YES, SHE'S DIRTY!! I have yet to clean her and get some better shots.

enjoy.

what kind of paint did you use? i've found there's one particular brand that works far and above the others when it comes to painting bumpers... can't remember what that was... i'll get back to ya. Don was the one that recommended it to me. (you know, Mr. I-love-to-rear-end-minivans-in-the-rain)

haha, thx for the comments, but i just painted it with some cheap spray paint from wal-mart and clear coated it as best I could.

With the amount of clear that i applied, i'm sure that it will be fine.

There are about 4 coats of paint and 2 coats of clear.... I need to buy more clear to get more coats.

I wasn't going for a professional look or anything, I figured that anything would look better than that white and.... other color.

Krylon Fusion matt.

Thats what ive heard everyone recomend, and what i myself would recomend to others. Napa also has this "Restore OEM Black" paint that im interested in trying, might test it out on my mirrors/window trim when i get that far.
