Alright. I smell gas inside my car and I can't seem to find out why. I dont smell it unless I have the vent on to bring the air in from the engine bay. I only smell gas when the vent is on the "fresh" setting, and not as much while I'm driving, but mostly at a stop sign/light idling. Got any suggestions?

check the fuel pressure regulator for leaks, along with the fuel return lines coming out of it. id also look at the fuel filter near the firewall and look for leaks on those 2 nuts. probably good thing to look at the injectors and the fuel rail too to make sure their not leaking. other then that, im out of ideas

I had a problem with my FI last spring where the end cap on the fuel rail was loose and leaking fuel onto the engine. I'd guess you have a leak somewhere..... you should spend some time tracking that down. If you haven't changed your fuel filter recently I'd do that at the same time..... its supposed to be changed way more often than most of us do

How many miles on it and have you changed your injectors? The injectors will eventually leak at the joint between the black plastic and the metal body of the injector. These parts are pressed together with a gasket. With time the gasket fails and the injector begins to seap gas. Look underneath the injector for varnish buildup on the intake manifold. If you see it, clean it off then look at it again in a week or so. If it's there it's leaking and will need ot be replaced. You cannot fix them.

I replaced the injectors with injectors from a junk yard a couple weeks ago. So if it is the little rings where can I get those?

When I fill up I can smell gas, but it is also because if you have a rubber piece of going from engine bay to inside of car, your practically smelling fumes. All engines will have the fumes, its natural unless its really really heavy.

Honda sells the Injector seals for pretty cheap... I'm hoping you used new ones when you swapped out the injectors?!... its like less than $30 for a whole set of injector seals.

Check out your fuel filter located near the left rear wheel. Check all the lines it could be a leak.

Oooh, hey there isn't a filter behind the wheel on the PGM-FI cars. Just the unit in the engine bay. Definitely check the seals and O-Rings on the injectors. If you don't want to go through Honda, I can mail out the full set of seals, cushions and O-Rings for $23.50, including postage. Honda list is $8.72 each set, or $34.88 for a full set.
