I just perchased a set of quick boot's for my CV joints. Are these any good? How do they compare to standard cv boots? should i return these and get regular boots?

I think they way they install is the main difference. You have to use the epoxy since they have the slit. I'm sure they'll last just as long... more people get tears near the clamps then at the epoxied seam.

on the car in a pinch there ok. for the hassle id just get a new/remaned shaft and be done with it.

If your lucky find a place to rebuild your shaft locally(not in Mexicana) like i do so you know what you getting.

theres' nothing wrong with the shaft.... just that the boot is starting to crack and i'm doing some preventative maintenance.
