carbed nitrous

does anyone know of a nitrous kit for a dual carbed 1.8 for my 85 prelude?

i remeber theres a guy on the board here who has a carb'd intake mani that he motified to fit a holly carb, if you were to get that mani or build one, theres a good chance you can get a carb plate for nitrous to fit, pretty simple instal

You'll probably need a wet shot
You might have to get an extra fuel pump to supply the fuel, and then tap the Fuel/Nitrous mix nozzle to each runner... thing is I don't think there is a lot of room with all the carb and emissions controls installed.
And I dunno how safe you'd be with a dry shot.

You may be able to install two nozzles in the lid of the air cleaner facing the barrels... still think you'd want a wet shot, but I'm no nitrous expert.

Its all about fabrication, what says you cant make your own adapter plate? Its not that hard anyways, youd be safer shooting it post carb anyways

I've been thinking about the same for my 1.8 carb 85' hatch. post carb would seem difficult to do, on the stock carb. But on the other side a pre-card wet should could be risky if there happen to be a back fire wile you were using it.

Popular N02 systems are plates/spraybars under the carb base. Problem with noss is you have to jet up to use it then your way rich at WOT when your not spraying. Most companies dont tell you that.

Ok smarty do how would you do a wet with a carb?? you 'd need a way to inject fuel, new lines and would the stock pump cut it?

Don't try to reinvent stuffs that been around since the 60's.

I don't think he could use an A20 Manifold, the head intake ports for the dual carb head are different.

post 10 isnt even the same, thats a wet shot carb plate. You wouldnt need to richen...and for dual carbs, I have a funny feeling you'd need dual plates.....

His 85 uses the same type of intake manifold as my 85 accord accept duel carb. I would imagen buying a new duel carb intake manifold for his accord and tweeking it would be the best way.
