can somebody tell me where the fast idle valve is and maybe show some pix. I did a search already and im not finding what i need. I got idle surge and its pissin me off.......

Not sure, have you tried pauls shop manual?

I have a similar problem with a carbureted 1989 model and cannot locate a fix for the problem (yet).
