Well, I guess I sort of spoke in stereotype. The old country squire station wagon my parents had when I was a kid, was a great car, lasted forever. Although, my father bought a Ford Explorer brand new a while back, and everything went in a row. Transmission, transfer case, and heater core, remember a new car with all of these problems. We thought that maybe we just got a bad one, and it was not like these cars, but, reading a lot about it, a lot of these cars had this problem and Ford never recalled them. But, its funny, after we had all of this replaced, its been perfect. But, I dont know if under any circumstances would I drive anything American, unless it was some crazy super car. I like imports, German cars mostly, minus Audi and VW.
