Excuse me? You think I'm some cheap bastard? I have a 1996 Honda Civic SiR that would blow away anything you could throw at it, the APC is the brand of my Headlights and Bulbs, That is it, so don't be callin it somethin cheap, Its not. and It won't be ever! And About the Draggon, its not staying, once I get a new paint job I'm not puting the dragon back on, I'll just have my sponsers on the side of the front doors, a window banner for front and back and thats probably it. That draggon killed the cars looks.

Yea Comcast went down for a few hours, Well, I used Http://www.TireRack.com, very nice place and good prices, they mainly sell german and sporty rims. But Milli Miglia is one of thier best rims they sell.

Good prices, nice site. Definitely bookmarking them. The image on the site is also five bolt, but since they match the rims to the car in the process, I imagine they have four bolt too. That assumption is further supported by the fact that you have them on your car. So I guess I'm good.

Do you have any suspension mods other than the shocks? I'm turning my 3g into a touring/sport type of vehicle (I kayak, mountain bike, and climb), so I want bigger rims w/ more ground clearance, but I want to perhaps get rid of just a tad of the wheel gap.

Good sounding Muffler, soon it will sound better with that 2 1/2" exaust piping from the headers straight to the muffler, and I'm gonna get the Dual Tip DTM muffler also. I just hooked up my guage pod back, and the new Guage Faces look awsome, especialy at night, I'll get pics tommorow when I finish puting the dash back together.

I'm debating on what I should get for rims and tires.......I'm gonna get the Milli Miglia rims again, unless I find something that I like thats nicer, but I'm either gonna get Nitto NT-555ZR 205/40ZR17 Tires, Nitto NT-555ZR 215/35ZR18, or The BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 205/40YR17, BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 215/35YR18 tires, I would like lighter rims, but I like these Milli Miglia's look, and I realy think they will look good when I get my body kit.

I raced it against a few other cars, and ofcource won, I never took it out on the strip, the scoop is only functional to a degree, it just keeps the engine cooler, I have a cold air intake on it inside the bumper. thats it, the engine is masivly fixed up, so is the suspension, I did all sorts of customizations to stiffin the chassis up cus Civic Chassis's are WEAK! But she is Loud and Fast!

hey... you said that your civic could blow anything that one could throw at it... well I have a good buddy that has a 95 talon AWD turbo that he bought for $4000 and only put $1000 into it... Im not sure if you said that out of spite or not but the only car that we have lost to so far has been a 95 supra w/ a single turbo conv. I think he was pushing 550hp or so... maybe more... I know that you love your car... I love mine two... but I'm always a realist when it comes to fast cars and I know that there is no way a civic can take it... not off the line and not on the high end... if I am ever on a tight budget and I need a fast car... $5000 is not a bad price to pay for a car that runs mid 13's I believe stock...

Well, all the mods I've done were not meant to allow 4G63's to beat me, I used to own a 650hp 96 Mitusbishi Eclipse AWD, and my car runs low 13's to high 12 seconds, I'm guessin, just because I haven't taken it out to a real track yet. but if he's only put a grand into it, he's not runnin nothin, and the guy in the supra didn't know how to drive, cus I know Eclipse's like the back of my hand, and he'll have to do more, he has more potential then mine does, but I have done soo much to this car for one reason and one reason only, to not lose. I have pulled the body off the frame and welded all sorts of cross bars to stiffin the chassis, 50% of the body is carbon fiber, My Blitz Power ID tells me I'm running 618hp @ 4800rpm, and the best time I've done on the regular streets was a low 13 second, but I don't know what the 1/4 mile is. My Honda Civic is a Mini Indy Cart if I may say. My Eclipse ran 650hp on its AWD Driveline and was never beaten, My Civic has been beaten by one car, a JDM Honda Integra GTR, and that was because my car was still not broken in, he had the same shit I did. my civic is lighter then the eclipse, so you'll just have to bring his bishi over here and race me.:werd:

were you saying 618hp in the eclispe or the civic??? Knowing how a AWD car runs compared to a FWD being that you owned really good versions of the two.. you then realize the huge difference AWD makes... off the line...in the turns... the only disadvantage is the weight... but that can be made up for. Dont get me wrong here... your civic has to be the nicest I have ever seen... I guess I'm just trying to say that for only $5000 you have to admit that haveing AWD and a hell of a lot more HP stock to start off with plus a cheaper price is something to think about....:werd:

Remember he's running the wrong offset with those rims, if you buy them you'll have all the same problems he's been discribing.
If you replace the tires with 205/40's you should be able to overcome that.

Yes, I will be replacing my Current Milli Miglia's with either 18's or 17's. And if you are interested, I would love to sell you my rims that I currently have, I have 5 of them, 3 with Dunlop tires and 2 with Pirelli tires, I use the Pirelli's for the front, I don't know if they have better traction, but I had to get something with a better snow rating cus I live 14 miles in a mountain.

I Love the offset on my rims, I'm gonna replace these with 18's with the same offset, but I'm gettin 35's on the new rims. You won't have any problems with these rims, I just rolled the fenders on my car for my future rims and drop.

My Blitz Power ID in the Honda Civic tells me that I'm peaking out at 618hp @ 4800rpm, that happend when I raced my friends EK9 Type R Civic. The Blitz Power ID in the Eclipse told me 650 @ 5500 RPM, and the Eclipse was AWD, and YES I do know the advantage, why do you think I cried when I lost my Eclipse, I could burn all 4 tires.

I'm not starting anything but, what is so non beliveable about a 1996 Honda Civic SiR with a B18C1 engine W/B16A2 head, fixed up the ass, pushing out 600hp? Chevy made thier cavilier push out 650hp for 20grand, I have more money in my Civic's engine. And my friend has more then that.

Not to bash on you but, the chevy came stock with a 2.4L and the bored&stroked it. you have a 1.8L and if you are going to throw up such a large # like 600+hp and want ppl to believe you. You might want to back it up with a dyno run. Plus if you are only running 13's out of a 600+hp CIVIC you might want get a tune up. I have friend who has the B18C w/ JRSC w/ 8lb. pully in his 94 hb civic and he's running low 12's and he dynoed it a 241hp at the wheels.

its not that it's non-believeable it just hard to believe... a B18C1 comes with 170 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque at the wheel.... I know that those numbers are no where close to its total potential but I just dont see how a B16A2 head could add around 400hp... you said that you just didnt want to lose right... well if you put as much money as you said into the Civic why didnt you just keep the AWD eclispe??? Im sure that you hardly ever lost to anyone with that beast... Sorry man I'm just a real advocate for AWD and for getting your $$$'s worth... You probably could have put $15,000 including the cost of the car with a 95 AWD Talon and gotten 600hp.... I may be wrong but I'm just weird like that. Yes, and it might have been some sort of instant burst of energy that caused it to read 618hp, but that is what it said, I've had diff readings for diff things, but its not unbelivable that a Civic runnin a B18 is pushing that. My friends CRX is pushing that with a B18, but he's a NIRA Drag Car Racer. I have raced Saleens and Camaro's with my Civic, Camaro's meaning Cop Car, I got put in jail for a week for vading a Camaro Cop Car. and a 5000 dollor fine.

I actualy didn't know it was a cop, it was dark and I just noticed a guy in a camaro right next to me looking at me funny, so I taped the gas a lil bit, he did the same, so I said fuck it ass hole, and I droped to 3rd gear and smokedem, I found out he was a cop after I did that, but by that time I was atleast 4 car lenghts ahead of him at 100mph and I knew I was gonna go to jail if I stoped so I just kept it floored through 4th and 5th gear, I got off the highway onto our new shiny frontage road's, well one of them, the longest I think and I hit the NOS button, ran 3 red lights durring that process, after the car got done having an orgasm, I slowed down and turned off on some side road and parked in someones driveway for 10 minutes. Durring that 10 minutes I had to calm the fuck down cus I was the #1 most scared person on earth, I was shaking, I had the biggest adrenalin rush of all time, it was my first time to run from the cop. But yea they showed up at my door step the next morning with a warent and I got put in jail for 1 week with a $5000 fine.

Why would you love the wrong offset:huh: Rolling your fender's will not give enough clearance to clear the rear fenders unless you swap out the tires for one's that have a shorter overall height, 205/40's, then they will clear. YOU CANNOT RUN ANYTHING OTHER THAN 45MM OFFSET WITH 18" RIMS WITH OUR CARS. THEY BARELY CLEAR WITH THE 45MM OFFSET I'm not telling you this because I have something to prove, I remember details, important things and I relentlessly bring them up when people need to know things. I'm am simply telling you things that other's have learned themselves the hard way. I also have learned the hard way when I got rims with the wrong 35mm offset, rolling the rear fenders didn't give me enough clearance, only stepping down in tire height would. I purchased new rims instead and I can now run more tire options instead of just one.

Ok heres what I want, I want my drop and all done with the 18's, but I dont want my rim stuck behind the fender, I like that the lil 5 arms stick out, I've seen my rims on a lexus and they were like that and it looked like shit, I want everything to match up perfectly, if I need a different offset, I'll get it, but I don't wanna go to a diff offset and it be all stuck inside the fender like the stock rims did, if I'm gonna do that, I cannot get these rims cus they look good how they are. and for that guy, I can drop my car how it is now and I won't have any problems, 205/45/16 is the tire size.

So you don't want our tire to tuck, you want them aligned with the fender lip. How can the wheel not go behind the fender lip? Your saying the look you want doesn't let that happen. Your rear suspension travels well beyond that lip. Seams to me like you want something you really can't have, least not without rubbing.

I wasn't talking about 40 series 18's, you misunderstood.

2. You cannot run 18" rims on our cars unless you get the rims with 45mm offset and 215/35-18 tire size. What would benefit you is to ask one of the guys that do have 18's, for them to post a pic that shows how close they are to the fender lip, that way you can see if things are the way you want or not.

I have emailed a member that I know ran 205/40-16 with 35mm offset and I'm waiting for his reply.

Well, from Albuquerque to my house is easy, the last 1/4 mile stretch is a gravel road which everyone and I drive slower then fuck on, I want the best suspension for the roads, cus I'm not gonna be doin anything on my gravel road, just driving on it 2 times a day, goin to work and commin home from work, thats it.
