Just looking around and I found a company that imports JDM cars anywhere. www.getjdmcars.com They use Canada as an example so I guess they must ship here too. Probably isn't cost effective after adding in freight, insurance, taxes, etc but it would be nice if we can bring in an mint 3rd gen Accord 2.0SI Exclusive with the electronic dash, B20 motor and tranny, black leather interior, climate control, ABS, etc and swap it in our cars. I know the car itself wouldn't be too expensive (probabaly like $500-$1000).

Hmm...at $70 per cubic meter for shipping, it probably would cost about $800 for shipping. Add in the cost of the car and taxes, you might be able to get one over here for $2000.

does anyone know what customs rules are?
i think you can import the car from japan but it has to be stricly for racing purposes.
