I edited one of the existing pinouts to match the B20A1 specs: http://home.tiscali.dk/uplort/Forum/b20a1-pinout.htm

And yea where are you from?

What ECU do you have? The B20A1 uses the PJ5 ecu. A regular A20A3/4 use the PJ0 ecu. You can use the PJ0 ecu but you will lose function of the secondary air vavle and will have to disconnect it.

Today i get a new ECU from the junkyard that i bought the halfcut
there is a serial number 37820-PH3-043
J 303
date of manufacture 23/7/1986
at the side of the ECU there is 2 LED
one is ignition(IG) and the another one is Fuel Injection(FI)
there is no serial number at previous ECU,sorry about that...
the engine number is B20A-1554998

The previous ECU there is only 1 LED at the top

The new PH3 ECU that you purchased, controls both ignition and injection. If your distributor on your engine has vacuum lines going to it, you cant use the PH3 ecu (or at least you shouldnt), if your engine does not have a vacuum advance ditributor the PH3 ecu is the right one.

So what distributor does your engine have and what car is the engine going in?

Dear aall,
I need help urgently, i would like to ask who have experience install Greddy E-Manage blue edition on B20A 2.0SI PH3(1 LED indicator) CA3 Accord?

I hv done the Turbo mechanical parts installation, but once the turbo boost engine check lamp will bright. As my frenz advice using Emanage too cheat the original ECU, but now the problem is the mechanic can get the PH3 ECU diagram, so my car is pending now.

thanx bud.

nice another B20A turbo, welcome!

I think the 88-89 prelude PK2 ecu pinout is almost the same, but I cant say for sure since I dont think anyone has ever been able to get the 88-89 PH3 ecu pinout. Here's the prelude pinout made by carotman: http://pages.infinit.net/omus/1989B20A5pinout.html

I think the 88-89 PH3 pinout is the same. I have both ECU here and the board is very similar. Just a few differences. Too few to change the pinout.

I got your PM i read that you can use a resister 2-4ohm to trick the ecu that the iac is there you might want to try that.

the EDM one doesnt have the ignition map in the ecu. thats thats the part that doesnt work. i get an error code on the ig LED it flashes 4 times. the FI led doesnt give a code at all.
I would still like to run my 85 ecu. man i wish there was a pinout somewhere lol

What is the scenario here? Are you trying to use an '85 B20A ecu on an '87-'88 B20A

I made this a while ago when I hooked up my 2 led PH3 ecu. I couldnt get rid the egr error since I dont have an egr so I junked that idea. But other than that I had it working correctly.

thanks for that ill try that today. Ive noticed the 88-89 blacktop accord b20a has teh same pinout as the jdm b20a5 prelude cause i plugged a PK2 ECU straight in and it fired up. I need to make this blacktop run from this older PH3 ECU. i will see what i can do with that wiring diagram you made thanks

carotman

yes, the PK2 and 88-89 PH3 ECU are the same, They have the same internals, just different "options" soldered in them. the PH3 has only 1 O2 sensor. That the only real difference.

Maybe add the diagram picture as well, it might be of use if anyone wants to convert their euro B20A1/2/8.

Great you got it running. So which ecu do you like best, the PK2, goldtop PH3 or blacktop PH3?
