OK, so I have a A18A engine... Is that good or shit? Should I do it up or scrap it for a B20A?

if you have access to a b20 i would go ahead with that project. assuming you are in new zealand, im thinking they probably have b20 accords there. since australia did (i think)

b20a should be a bolt in swap, so if you can find one, thats the route i would take.

Australia didnt, New Zealand did. The A18A engine is the second lowest you can go in a 3rd gen accord, with the A16A being the lowest.

Australia had B20 accords but they were rare as hell.

basically... yea

Australia had B20 accords but they were rare as hell.

Sounds weird since their Accord with the A20A3 FI engine was already named as the Si model. If there were any they must have been imported from either New Zealand, Japan or similar place. And from what I remember I havent ever seen any B20A Accord from Australia.

So what does VTEC mean? could I have a engine thats a VTEC B20A or something? or does VTEC mean something else?

VTEC means Variable valve Timing and lift Electronic Control
The accord b20 was around long before VTEC was created.
