Any other seat belts fit an SE-i seat belt?

I know for a fact that my LX seat belt(s) don't buckle into the SE-i seat belt(s). I was wondering if maybe an LX-i seat belt would fit. Since my LX seat belts don't fit, I'm pretty sure the DX seat belts don't fit either.

Also, the seat belt is beige/cream (silky ivory), does the LX-i have a matching color?

Updated - here are some pics of the seats in silky ivory (different lighting).

I know the 2dr lx-i's in the j/y had tan belts but the 4 drs have black, but then again I had a black/tan interior.

Thanks for the 411, snow_man_20.

I still don't know if they will fit the SE-i front seat buckle, but now I know I can use the LX-i seat belts for all three rear seat belts. That sure helps alot, since there are a lot more LX-i's vs. SE-i's.

Again, thanks for the reply.

Peace.

Now that's kind of strange. Why would they put a different design on something as mundane as a seatbelt buckle? You just never know about Honda. I have a '73 CL450 Scrambler (bike). When my model was marketed, the 450 line was about over with, yet Uncle Honda made several small changes to non-visible parts - they're always thinking. It's what has got the Japs eating our lunch. I also own a '89 Cutlass Ciera (OK OK but it's only got 21k miles on it and I paid $750). So here I have two 1989 cars that were theoretically direct competitors. My Sei stickered for $18,500 and the dealers were getting over list then. The Cutlass stickered for $15,500. As you guys can imagine, there is no comparing the two vehicles. One is a pretty fine example of thoughtful design and careful construction, the other is a bunch of parts slammed together by overpaid and surly union guys. Like Pogo said, "We have seen the enemy and it is us."

Watcher, there is an Sei being parted on eBay now. He says it has a tan interior so I don't know about the belts. Here's the URL:

Still looking for front SE-i seat belts and rear SE-i or LX-i seat belts. If you have either or both, please send me a PM.

TIA.
