Home made Rattle Pipe

Im taking Welding this year, and I was wanting to mkae my own rattle pipe, and was wondering if you guys think it would work, and what makes it work¿

OK, thats what we call it, you know the big mufflers, with like a 3 inch outlet, well I want to make a muffler, and I want it to be around 5 to 6 inches long, and have it 5 inches wide, with a 3 inch outlet, and a 2 inch inlet. Do you think it owuld work, or just make my car sound like crap. It will all be welded by a wire welder.

I am not too sure how it would work but it could be fun to try.

Hey you might as well try and see how it works. Just make sure it doesn't sound like a weed eater.
