emergency brake light

my emergency brake is off and my light is still staying on i dont no what to do with it...so can ne 1 tell me what i need to do or whats wrong with it thanks

well is it stuck on? will the car roll on its own?

other wise the switch is prolly faulty. Im not sure but I think its in the e-brake housing.

um have you checked your brake fluid? that light isn't just for your ebrake,that is your brake warning light. it means eithier your brake fluid is low or your ebrake is on. there is a fluid level switch in the master cyl. cap. if the brake fluid level is good,sometimes those wires on the cap get twisted up and short.

There is a little rubber/plastic part behind the brake pedal that deteriorated. Just replace the part. It cost me less than $5 at my Honda dealer. And it's easy to replace, so you can do it yourself.

not the brake lights,the warning light in the dash,the one that tells you your ebrake is on or your fluid is low, at least as far as i can tell,if it's the brake lights i've got some good pics of that psrt on here.
