You were talking about the cut-off shields. What do they look like? Are they the clear cylinder surrounding the light bulb? Looks great by the way!!!

they're nice, but all that money just to make your lights look blue, man $359 to blind the hell out of someone is alot IMO.. besides that they're hot i've seen them on the new bmw's ..

The plastic is for protection. The metal deal is for the glare. And it's not just to look blue frankie, it is totally a different caliber of light, crisp and bright. I drove around last night and didn't get flashed at all. Sides, if I get flashed I have HID high beams too!!!!

interesting. u just throw them in h4 housings right? how much of a PITA was the wiring setup?

that looks pretty decent... i expected worse from those cut off sheilds, but it looks like they do an ok job. :) much brighter than my raybrigs. :D

nice job man

It took me a couple of hours, but I had a h4 wireing harness upgrade already that I had to pull out. And figuring out where to put everything was the hardest part.(lack of room you know)
But the install normally would take prolly an hour I would say. The hidynamic kit is complete though, you don't need anything else. Time will tell about the longevity, it has a full one year warrantee, so we will see.

looks good. the only thing I would worry about is when that bulb blows out (should be a loong time but yea..)

Much better than I've expected. Good job ryan!

i'll let you guinea pig for awhile to see how it goes. (All that research into getting retrofits is going down the drain as money is going lower and I'm beginning to wonder if I should cheap out and get a Plug n Play.... =X)

dammit.

man, i bet those would go really well with some nice Hella E-code's. they are supposed to have a flat cut off, unlike a US version. anyway, those look good. i think when i get back into a job, i will spend my money on an HID kit. that's something i'm picky about is lights for night driving. nothing i've done is bright enough, IMO.

actually hondaboy, these are ecodes. If you look carefully there is the ecode signature ___/ ___/ on the headlights. Autopal is like a cheaper version of the hellas. I would've gotten autopal if i knew about it before I knew about hellas but oh well.

The reason why its hard to tell the hid cutoff is because the hid isn't designed for the headlight and vice versa. It works but..its not optimal. I wish Ryan was closer so I could've see it in person. Oh well. I guess I'll stick to my Raybrigs for now. :D

so, there arent any headlights really that dont come with that sign illuminator thing? i noticed my bs projectors have that. on mine, it leaves this big space where light isnt going to the right side, but is overlapped in the middle where the two headlights patterns blend together, i just use some E code prelude fog lights to put light where the headlights dont. they have a completely flat spread of light, they would be perfect with some nice HID conversions put to them.

nice job. I really like the cutoff line, too.
I recently did a retrofit on my ack.
$359 seems kinda steep though.
What K temp did you get?

They are 8000. And the price....well these are Bixenon, so I have a low beam and a high beam. Not just a h4 low only bulb.

Nice! I want some HID's, but i dont have the money for that. But yeah, the beam looks crooked.. You need to turn the bulbs a little or something.
