View Full Version : 88 corner markers on a 87??

can someone explain this mod again... I need both sides (corner markers/turn signals) and I like the way the 88-89's look better.... thanks...!!!!

They dont fit! Plain and simple!

Maybe swap the fenders......

NOT.

The corner lights fit, but will look weird if you don't change the eyebrow pieces and grille out with it. The 88-89's have those lines in them, the 87's don't.

yes they DO fit..

Hell I see alot of ghettoized 3gs here with mixmatched parts from all the years..

interesting... so the screws fit and all??? I noticed a slim piece of rubber under the lens on the 88 that I dont remember seeing on my 87... does that just tuck inside??? Im planing on spraying the orange red and I dont really mind the lines... just as long as it fits/seals in like the 87 does....

yes the do fit!!!

They are exactly the same as the ones on the 86-87s...only they look better..

i have done this.. i switched mine aswell.. cuz i hated the older ones..
I also swapped bumpers fron an 88/89 and put it on my 87..

just had to cut the hole in the styrofoam a bit bigger to fit the lenses..

He is talking about the side markers on the fenders at the front, not in the bumper.

i have the 88/89 corners and eyebrows...but not the bumper on my 87......so yeah they fit

yes.. i know which ones he is talkin about...
I have done them.. I did an entire 88-89 front-end conversion on my 87.. and all the parts ( markers, bumper and all) fit perfectly..
