Is it possible to modify an 86 lx to run the 1/4 mile in the mid 12s?

I was gonna say custom turbo but then I noticed you said LX not LX-i. So on that engine I dont think so Carb and turbo dont mix.

Its possible to go 12s but not with the A20a1 engine. You need to swap to a Any of the B series brothers and do a custom turbo on that.

But i could be wrong.

I bet you could with dual webbers a major port and polish along with a proper exhaust. Or dual webbers and a blower set up
