Which one is plug n play with our cars? (If any arent...) or which has the most power output? I'm not exactly a stock motor, but I'm looking for a new coil to compare to my current dual ignition coil mod. They arent that expensive anyways.

On a partially side-note, where do you guys usually get low resistance wires from?

Yeah let me know on a decent pricee hopefully. Im carbed, so keep in mind the dizzy.

Thanks

id say the blaster two is a good one. thats what i have, always has a decent spark, i dont have trouble with my plugs since i got it. mine is a round one, that was easy to locate on my fender. i wish i had got the other one, its like a square shape.

im not sure the differenfe, but i have the 'square' one... the blaster SS in my car for about 2 or 3 years, and its always been good to me. no complaints. :)

So the blaster 2 is my best bet? I'm kinda dumb when it comes to sparks, how exactly does it work better than a stock ignition?

A stock ignition seems to be able to blow up the mixture well enough to make the engine run. If its all blowing up though, I dont understand how more of a spark will help...

Dont get me wrong, there is use in ignition systems, my dual ignition with high gap plugs seemed to do very well for low end power for some reason.

I'm considering getting 2 blaster 2's and wiring them up, and comparing difference on stock wires and low resistance ones. They are cheap enough anyways, plus I'm not exactly broke atm.

EDIT: And I would wire it directly from battery through an ignition relay to trip the heavier than stock awg wiring. Maybe help some more. Maybe fix my "misfire"

I had a blaster 2 and Accel Super Stock, they were the same to me.

I'd say get the blaster SS or Accel Super Coil like I have. :)

Just so you know, the super coil and super stock coil are different.

uless you're absolutely sure your coil was the problem, a more powerful coil may end up masking your problem(s).

Well a more powerful coil would essentially be less power than im giving it right now. Running duals anyways, but I dont get the bonuses like proper spark duration and things like that, so thats why im considering a new one. I should do up the ignition soon anyways.

See thread "Problem at 5000-5500..." thread in technical.

Yeah thats right, I didnt link you. Bitch.

(Haha, sorry dude, thought it was funny.... :))

Im looking on ebay for some accel wires, are there any other applications that fit? Can I just buy one for a 1.6 civic si and they will fit? I'd just hate to have the wires too short to reach the #4

Hmm, found these Bosch ones (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BOSCH-IGNITION-PLUG-WIRES-83-87-HONDA-ACCORD-PRELUDE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33692QQitemZ801 5355726QQrdZ1)

Would bosch be any good, or am I still better off with accel or msd? And a couple OBX showed up, but OBX wires.... :uh:

those are just oem. if your using a high powered ignition setup, it might be worth your while to invest in some MSD 8.5s, or crane 9 or 11mm wires (cant remember what size they are, but i know they are larger than the 8.5 msds.
