it had insurance, but the pictures where not taken so a claim was not made. we reported the engine stolen and are going to put the car back together

Damn punks, It sucks to see a nice car to be ripped like that, I know the feeling some stupid just break in to my car and stole the stereo(destroyed the dash and climate controls to take it out), a valentine one radar detector and the full sound system from my car(recently installed). Tomorrow is my apoinment with the insurance (I think they are going to totalled my car):mad: My advised: get a nice security system for your car otherwise the punks that did that will do it again, and I will do the same.

My friends civic hatch just got stolen a week ago also. He had a jdm B16A in his. Thank god they didnt take his motor. They tore out all the ignition wires, and stole everything in the interior. Full stereo, and cd's and anything else of value. Man that sucks they pulled the motor, and the whole front clip...Just look for a car with a civic front end conversion and a B18, and you've got your Punk. Atleast you still have those sick honda wheels. Kill'em all!!!

You can not leave a decent honda around anywhere these days. And it could have been worse my friend dumped 15k into his hatch and spent about a year building it and the first night he got it running he took it to the races and got jacked at gun point. A few days later just a shell turned up and they even walked on the roof so its basically a total loss.

This is one reason why i hate owning a honda cause i can never park it and feel its safe.

put the civic back together. it has a b16a2 now. long story short, we put out the word to a lot of people. some poeple did get beat up in the process, but we figured out who stole it. we dident know these people but we made them pay. we got back about 90% of the stuff, the kids house they used to do it payed $1500 and the kid who took out the motor gave my boy a salved (but already fixed) 97 bmw m3 4dr. this was the talk of the town for a while, anyways, thins are starting to look better

well i guess that is a happy ending...my uncle went to LA and got a 94 Teg and drove it to the bay area... he did not even have full cover when they jacked it from his driveway... he found it like 3 weeks later with everything striped out..from engine to door panels...he said that was the last time they did that to him and now he has alarm on all his cars..and when he leave for long trips he takes out the ignition coil so even if they brake in they would not be able to drive it away.

when they stole it they messed up the bumper support. we put a new one on, it just needs some tweeking.

the car is not salvage because he never made an insurance clame on it. from the very beginnig we knew we where going to figure out how did it.

everything from the front end except the hood was salvagable. the hood was good until the fire department came and ripped it open even thoug the engine wasent on fire. even the rims survived
